Well, we heard a few weeks ago that Loki – played by Tom Hiddleston – was likely to get his own TV Series when Disney’s streaming service, now officially monikered Disney +, lands (here) and last night it was officially announced.
During Disney’s quarterly earnings call, CEO Bob Iger confirmed that a live-action television series centred around Loki is in development at Disney+.
We’d imagine this means the Scarlet Witch series (as linked above too) will also be coming. We heard recently that that series plans on having Vision as a big part of it too, so we expect to hear official news on that soon.
But for now… Loki!
We know nothing about the setting of the series… will it be Hiddleston? Will it be a young Loki? Did he survive Infinity War? All yet to be revealed.
That said, fans won’t be happy if Hiddleston doesn’t return. Or maybe that’s just us?
Anyway, that’s all we have. What do you all think? Let us know…
UPDATED…
We think it’s fair to say Hiddleston is coming back:
