A couple of weeks ago we got a new teaser for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the third Ghostbusters movie which was meant to release last year but due to, well, you know, it won’t arrive until November.
The teaser (here) revealed that this time there’s not just one massive Mr Stay Puft to deal with but rather there’s hundreds of tiny ones and, while it’s a big divisive to fans, it manages to be both terrifying and cute as hell at the same time and, we’ve not lucky enough to see original star Bill Murray’s reaction to them.
Now, while we know that another of the original Ghostbusters, Ernie Hudson, has seen the movie, which left him “speechless“, it seems that Murray has not.
Yes, the smile in this picture is genuine. #Ghostbustersafterlife is so good, that I was speechless!@JasonReitman https://t.co/Leiqu5UkjC pic.twitter.com/K4kSJJfkoc

It seems Hudson got a screening with writer/director Jason Reitman while Murray got sent a clip by Ghostbusters I & II director Ivan Reitman (Jason’s dad) and the clip was the mini-Stay Pufts running amok and, I have to say, Murray’s reaction is adorable, saying: “That was funny… that’s good. That’s got the feel, doesn’t it?”
You can check out the clip below and reflect how lucky you are to, in all the eons of time that has been and that will continue to be, you’re alive at the time when Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a thing. You lucky, nerd!
Let me know your thoughts, guys.
From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
