Good news Supernatural fans!
No, it’s not the Supernatural reunion you’ve all been pacing the floor for, but it’s the next best thing.
Eric Kripke, showrunner on Supernatural and The Boys, has long-expressed an interest to reunite Jensen Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy in The Boys and Dean Winchester in Supernatural, with his Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) and Misha Collins (Castiel) in The Boys and now, with the fina season coming up, it’s actually happening.
Stars say ‘talks are happening’ in relation to bringing Supernatural back
Speaking in 2024, Kripke said: “I feel like I have to complete my game of ‘Supernatural’ Pokémon.”
For the record, The Boys has also featured Supernatural alumni Jim Beaver, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Rob Benedict and now the whole team is beign rounded out.
The Boys is currently filming its last season and is expected to air later this year.
Are you excited to have the trio back on your screen? Personally, while I enjoyed the first few seasons on The Boys, I found it lost its shine in season three and I’ve yet to watch season 4 but having these guys appear together might lure me back… or I might just wait for the inevitable Supernatural revival in the near future.
Thoughts? I want to hear them…
