The first teaser is here for Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, a new series from the folks behind Stranger Things and Baby Reindeer.

The series will be executive produced by the brothers but was created and showrun by Haley Z Boston and tells the story of Rachel and Nicky and the bad, possibly supernatural, things that occur on the week leading up to their wedding  – movies such as Rosemary’s Baby and Carrie are bandied around when talking about the plot.

“I love horror, it’s natural to me,” says Boston,  “[it’s how] I process my own emotions and feelings and my own understanding of the world. I think horror allows you to explore taboo feelings and take all of these fears and give them some bite.”

She goes on: “I love to explore characters. I think sometimes that’s lacking in the horror genre. My natural approach is from a place of character and dialogue and humor and then infusing that with unsettling horror. I’m like, ‘I want to be unsettled. I want to be freaked out.’ ”

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen stars Camila Morrone and Adam DiMarco and hits screens on March 26th.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
