ABC renew Scrubs for a second (em, eleventh, actually) season!

Yes! The best old show/new show of 2026, Scrubs, has been renewed for a second season by ABC, meaning that, in the near future, we’ll be headed back to Sacred Heart for more medical laughs and heartache.

While apprehensions were high for the revival earlier this year, the reboot turned out to be the best revival in a world full of revivals in many a day and so we’re delighted that we’re getting a second season – well, technically season 11.

The hit medical comedy series had been off our screens for almost 16 years (mind-blowing) and returned with a near full cast reunion, including Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, John C McGinley, Judy Reyes, Christa Miller, Neil Flynn, Phill Lewis, and Robert Maschio.

And it may be 2026’s biggest ray of sunshine yet.

I loved the original series, and I loved the reboot almost as much, so if showrunner Bill Lawrence and the gang can keep that quality up, then bring it all on!

Thoughts? I know you have them and I wanna hear ’em all.

Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
