WATCH: First teaser for Scooby-Doo: Origins introduces live-action Shaggy and Scoob

We have our first look at Scooby-Doo in the teaser for the live-action Scooby-Doo: Origins, coming next year from Netflix.

During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely, lost Great Dane puppy who may have been a witness to a supernatural murder.

Alongside the pragmatic and scientific townie Velma and the strange but ever-so-handsome new kid Freddy, they set out to solve the case that’s pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.

The series will star McKenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Tanner Hagen as Norbert ‘Shaggy’ Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones, and Paul Walter Hauser rumoured to be Scooby’s original owner.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd.
