Ok, look, I try not to get too excited about spec scripts but John Wick meets Bigfoot is just too good to not be a little excited about.
Now, writer Jacob Rainer’s script, Wildman, has been acquired by Badlands, a studio that’s part of Thunder Road, the studio behind, you guessed it, John Wick.
When his little brother is killed by hunters, Bigfoot goes on a quest to retrieve the body while killing everyone responsible along the way.

I mean… what’s not to love? Heck, I could see John Wick going after him at some point.
Maybe not.
Still a fun idea for a movie though.
The script was the result of a Screenplay contest on Scriptshadow.net, when Rainer, a big fan of Bigfoot lore, decided to have a go at penning a script. Bet he’s glad he did now.
It’s probably going to be a while before this one sees the light of day but it’s going to be a lot of fun when it does and I’ll keep you posted on any and all details as it comes along.
