Animated Justice League Mini-Series Heading To Machinima

September 18th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

So as if movies, comics, video games, and TV shows weren’t enough, DC has now approved a Justice League mini-series to air on Machinima in 2015 according to Superhero Hype.

The series is to be called, Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles, and it’s being developed by DC TV legends Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett. They made Batman TAS and all the other DC animated series you loved back then.

The thing that’s most interesting though, is that this mini-series will tie into a DC animated movie releasing in the same year, yep, it’s Justice League: Gods and Monsters.

““Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles” explores a newly conceived reality in the DC Universe where Justice League members Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are much darker versions of the Super Heroes that people think they know. The episodes are expected to debut on Machinima in spring 2015, weeks before the launch of the film.”

This is the first series to take part in WB’s new digital content division. And no doubt if it’s successful it’ll pave the way for more to come.
