You read the title correctly folks. In a bizarre turn of events DC Comics is partnering with none other than Kentucky Fried Chicken for a comic book crossover titled The Colonel of Two Worlds. In true multiverse fashion the beloved icon Colonel Sanders has an Earth-3 counterpart that’s tarnishing our Colonel’s good name. Below you can see some preview images of the crossover that will be available on October 9th at NYCC between 11:00 am and 3 pm eastern. For those of you that can’t make it to the Con, don’t fret; Comixology and the KFC website (kfc.com) will have these bad boys on sale digitally starting on Thursday October 8th.

What do you guys think of this? It isn’t the first time this year the Colonel has appeared in his own book this year. (SDCC attendees received the first one) Will you be reading to watch the Colonel’s “superpower” (frying chicken the “hard way”)? Let me know in the comments below!

I'm 25 years old and I'm hugely passionate about comic books and I also LOVE gaming. The birth of my daughter, Abby, rekindled my passion for comic book stories. I grew up on them and I want nothing more than to share that passion with her! I'm a pretty typical guy, I love sports. (NHL-Blackhawks, NBA-Lakers, MLB-Cubs, and NFL-Daaaa Bears!). I've been writing for a pretty big portion of my life, and I've been nominated for multiple awards for some of the poetry I’ve written! Happy reading and follow me on Twitter @xJatmanx.
