FIRST LOOK: Hangman Comics’ Calavera: The Undead

July 7th, 2014 by Marc Comments

Hangman Comics proudly presents “Calavera The Undead”, a deadly new series with art and story by Nevin Arnold (writer of “Honor Of The Damned).

Calavera a fun loving 80’s rocker chick, falls to her death in 1989 only to instantaneously awaken in the year 2012.

Now essentially a super powered zombie, deteriorating day by day, and sharing her body with a mysterious entity, this most unlikely heroine may be our last hope as dark forces plot to destroy civilization as we know it!

Print and Digital copies available now here, as well as the killer Deluxe Edition (Limited to 150 Copies) which comes with screenprinted signed and numbered backing board, and a copy of “Honor Of The Damned” #1 (first printing – Nevin’s 2005 dark humored comic about an Undead Samurai Warrior and his master, a ten-year-old boy named Steven), both comics signed.

Digital Edition also now available on Amazon

Join Hangman Comics on facebook for cool updates, previews, contests and givaways, as well as your chance to appear in Calavera #4!

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
