Yes, that title is accurate, in an article posted on the official Back to the Future website (done in perfect time travel mode, look at the date in the article), IDW has revealed that they are making an official Back To The Future comic that’ll arrive…October 21st! Yep, that was planned.
Oh, and in case any of you were worried…Bob Gale is overseeing this series.
“We’ve subtitled this ‘Untold Tales and Alternate Timelines’ because for years, fans have asked questions about things that happened before the events of the trilogy, in between the events of the trilogy, or in our alternate realities,” said Gale. “In this series, we’ll finally answer some of those questions, with our focus squarely on the characters everyone loves.”
So what will the first issue be about? Why, how Marty met Doc Brown of course! So get your Deloreans ready! We’re going back…to the future!
