Well, Marvel has put out comics about every other Star Wars character, its time that Han got his own. The series is to be written by Marjorie Liu (X-23) and drawn by Mark Brooks.
According to a report from comicbook.com, “In the story, Han Solo enters a starship race called the Dragon Void Run. The race is infamous for its entrants and difficulty – exactly the kind of challenge Han has always dreamed of facing. His entry isn’t just about the glory and fun of the race, however, as he’s also on a mission for the Rebel Alliance, hoping to rescue informants and spies who’ve been caught up in related trouble.”
I have to be honest; Star Wars has never done much for me, outside of film. I am aware that there are great books, comics and games, but for some reason they have never appealed to me.
That being said, the premise does sound fun, and Marjorie Liu is a tried and tested writer. Maybe one more foray into Star Wars comics won’t hurt.
