The joker is likely the most iconic and infamous villain in comic book history.

Well. comicbook.com recently posted an article saying that we may be seeing more of the clown faced madman.

“Not long ago, best-selling Batman writer Scott Snyder mentioned on Twitter that he had an idea for a Joker story,” they wrote.

Mentioning it on twitter Snyder stated that he “[had] an idea for another Joker story recently – something really dark though, for out of continuity, like a [graphic novel].”

Snyder also said that he is, “definitely trying to develop it… For me, it’s just about making it happen. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

The joker has had an interesting life, in one of the most recent comics his face was removed then implanted back on his head.

Yes, that’s as dark and disgusting as it sounds. So if this one is darker, it begs the question of what exactly is going to happen. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
