September 2nd, 2020 by Marc Comments

So, fellow Ghostheads, how excited would you be to hear that there was new episodes of The Real Ghostbusters coming?

Well, there is… of a sort.

White Rose Ghostbusters have revealed that they are embarking upon an exciting new project that will, essentially, bring back the Real Ghostbusters.

The Lost Adventures are adapted from the Marvel UK Real Ghostbusters Comic and Annuals which ran from 1988 to 1992 and have mostly been out of print ever since.

The first few clips are available and look incredible and, even better, they will now have a voice cast attached so the full episodes will have dialogue.

The team have lovingly restored the comics, animated them and cast voice actors to bring the tales to life! Seriously, how awesome is the Ghostbusters fandom!?

There were a number of RGB comics reprinted in 2006 by Titan Comics and the team have avoided them, concentrating solely on the issue that are no longer out there for fans to consume.

We will be running a full interview with the team in the very near future, but in the meantime, here’s the awesome trailer made by fans, for fans.

Check it out, give them a follow on the link above and show your support. Let me know your thoughts, gang.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
