The upcoming DC Comics event Convergence is literally going to reshape the DC Universe as we know it. Numerous new titles are coming out after the event ends, and the returning titles won’t be staying idle either.
In regards to Batman, though it won’t be “affected” by Convergence per se, there will be a BIG storyline happening after Convergence ends. Scott Snyder notes about what the story will make fans think.
“I’m not going to spoil it specifically, but I can tell you unequivocally, it is the boldest, weirdest, biggest thing we’ve ever tried on the book. I’m not being hyperbolic: You’ll see it, and you’ll be like, “I can’t believe they’re doing that.””
