NOW CLOSED: Competition: Win a copy of Ex-Purgatory by Peter Clines

February 5th, 2014 by Jay 6 Comments

Thanks to the very kind folks at Del Rey we have four copies of Peter Cline’s fabulous new post apocalyptic zombie / superhero novel, Ex-Purgatory, to give away.

Ex-Purgatory is book four in the Ex-Heroes series, set in Los Angeles after a plague of living death spread around the globe. Billions died, civilization fell, and the city of angels was left a desolate zombie wasteland. A year later and a group of heroes (originally Stealth, Gorgon, Regenerator, Cerberus, Zzzap, and The Mighty Dragon.) protect a last few thousand survivors in their film-studio-turned-fortress, the Mount.  The heroes fight the armies of ravenous ex-humans at their citadel’s gates, lead teams out to scavenge for supplies—and struggle to be the symbols of strength and hope the survivors so desperately need.

…but the hungry ex-humans aren’t the only threats the heroes face. Other heroes and villains, the military, even other human survivors are all threats that the Ex-Heroes must overcome.

To be in with a chance of winning a copy of this great book just hit reply below and tell us which super heroic powers you would like to have during a zombie apocalypse.

Competition ends: 13th February 2014

Jay says that he is a writer, martial artist, sketcher, and dreamer but mostly just a husband and father. Since getting married to the wonderful and patient woman of his dreams, and becoming a father (of two young boys), he has fallen into the category of 'lapsed nerd' as he is a former RPer, Live Role-Player, and comic book junkie. Science fiction and fantasy books are the staple of his shelves - both in terms of books and movies ... however, he's never seen Star Wars (any of them) but please don't hold that against him! He is currently trying to find a medical cure for the thing called sleep, as it is interferring with the thing he calls life. If you want to know more about him go to www.jayfaulkner.com
