Hello and welcome to the latest episode of the Following the Nerd Podcast.

On the show this week we’ll be discussing Cecily Strong’s comments about the sexist Ghostbusters haters.

We’ll be looking at the direction Arrow Season 4 will be taking and what this might mean for another one of our favourite (cancelled) shows.

Gal Gadot talks about Wonder Woman in Batman V Superman and how it’s not just empowering for women. Plus we’ll be talking about the possible return of Xena: Warrior Princess to our screens.

Also could Transformers 5 focus on the creation of the Transformers and feature fan favourite Ultra Magnus?

And also, because we weren’t here last week, we will be talking about the SDCC Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad trailers.

All this and much, much more on the show tonight…

As always, I’m your host Marc and with me once more in the studio I have the man who recently got fired from Baskin Robbins for secretly licking the tops of all the Ice Cream tubs. Well, Baskin Robbins ALWAYS finds out.

His family know him as Stephen but to everyone else he’s known simply as… Saxon

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
