Co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller reunite to bring Miller’s visually stunning “Sin City” graphic novels back to the screen in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. A Dame to Kill For weaves together two of Frank Miller’s classic stories with new tales in which the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more repulsive inhabitants. In Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord, and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to “The Big Fat Kill” (featured in the film Frank Miller’s Sin City) and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face.
The returning cast are Bruce Willis as Detective John Hartigan, Jessica Alba as Nancy Callahan, Mickey Rourke as Marv, Rosario Dawson as Gail and Jamie King as Goldie and Wendy. New additions include Eva Green, Christopher Meloni, Stacey Keach, Jaimie Chung, Juno Temple, Julia Garner, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ray Liotta, Josh Brolin, and Jeremy Piven, with Dennis Haysbert inheriting the role of Manute from the late Michael Clarke Duncan.
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is out in the US on August 22nd and in the UK on August 29th.
