Before every season of horror anthology show ‘American Horror Story’, there is much anticipation and plenty of rumours surrounding what theme the new season would take. We’ve seen many horror tropes explored so far such as murder house in season 1, asylums in season 2 and witches’ covens in season 3.
Well the rumours surrounding season 4 of the show can now be put to rest as series creator Ryan Murphy as just tweeted:
American Horror Story main-stay Jessica Lange is likely to return, possibly for her last time and season 3’s cast additions, Angela Bassett and Kathy Bates are also rumoured to be eager to return.
It was heavily rumoured that this season of the hit FX show was to be set in a carnival in the 1950s and we at FTN think this is a great setting that can be mined for creepy scares and storytelling. We will see come when it airs October 2014.
