Fox are reportedly eyeing up either Angelina Jolie and Jessica Chastain for a role in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
Popcorn Talk’s Meet the Movie Press show released the news this week but there’s been no word on what characters they’d play and if indeed both actresses are in talks for a role.
Chastain actually had a role in Marvel’s Iron Man 3 before eventually pulling out of the project while Jolie is also rumoured to be in the running for a role in Universal’s Bride of Frankenstein.
Simon Kinberg is set to direct the film with Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner reprising her X-Men: Apocalypse role as a young Jean Grey.
Filming is expected to begin in June in Montreal, with a release scheduled for 2 November 2018.
