Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara has said that Ben Affleck’s Batman, to appear in the sequel to Man of Steel, will be “tired and weary and seasoned”.
His comments, via Variety, come as social media continues to debate the decision by Zack Snyder to choose the actor to play Bruce Wayne’s alter ego.
“[He will be] tired and weary and seasoned and been doing it for awhile,” said Tsujihara. “…We think it’s going to be huge.”
The new film is being scripted by David S. Goyer from a story he co-created with Zack Snyder.
It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
