Bryan Singer has confirmed that he will be directing the long awaited Freddie Mercury/Queen biopic.
Announcing the news on Instagram, the X-Men helmer also confirmed that Mr Robot star Rami Malek will play the rock frontman in the tentatively titled Bohemian Rhapsody.
Dexter Fletcher, Tom Hooper and Stephen Frears have all been liked with the directors job in recent years while Sacha Baron Cohen famously walked away from the lead role after creative differences with the remaining members of Queen.
James Bond actor Ben Wishaw was supposedly signed on to play Freddie as recently this year but it seems everything has now changed and all is good to go.
No word though on when production will commence.
