Chris Pratt is already starring in 2014′s The LEGO Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy among his other projects. The Wrap is reporting today that the Parks & Recreation actor is eyeing a leading role in Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World. The part is said to be the same one that was linked to Josh Brolin, who will not be in the film after all.
Irrfan Khan (Life of Pi, The Amazing Spider-Man) is also said to be up for a supporting role. If cast, they would join Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins.
Steven Spielberg returns to produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series. Colin Trevorrow will direct from a draft of the screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley join the team as fellow producers.
Jurassic World is set to be released in 3D on June 12th, 2015.
