An old frenemy is coming back to the Star Wars Universe. Hondo Ohnaka, the pirate/thief/”entrepreneur” from Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be appearing in an upcoming episode of Star Wars: Rebels.
The voice actor for Hondo, Jim Cummings, said this during a podcast, “And I think I’m allowed to tell you I’m back.” Though he’s not sure when exactly the Hondo episode will be. “He’ll be back, but we do them so far in advance I don’t know when. So you’ll just have to watch them all. I do anyway, so what the heck.”
Hondo had numerous appearances in Clone Wars, acting both as an ally and an enemy, it’s unclear which side Hondo will play in Rebels, but since this is Hondo…it’ll probably be whatever side best suits him.
