David Morrissey’s Governor will get 2 “stand alone” episodes in season 4

July 26th, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

You may have noticed The Governor was conspicuously absent from the Comic-Con trailer for Season 4 of The Walking Dead. This caused much speculation from fans, despite David Morrissey being confirmed as a season 4 regular since April.

A new report from TV Line gives us some interesting information. Michael Ausiello says of the upcoming season:

“Well, I can tell you that he’ll have a major presence in at least two Season 4 episodes, bothof which are being unofficially billed as ”standalone Governor” installments. No specific intel on when those episodes will air, but I hear they’ll likely fall in the first chunk of eight.”

This of course doesn’t rule him out from appearing in other episodes.
