Dominic Cooper talks Warcraft

January 15th, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Dominic Cooper star of Reasonable Doubt, spoke today with CraveOnline, offering some bits of info about Duncan Jones’ Warcraft:

“There’s a very human story at the heart of it, because there’s a few of us that are humans in it that are up against tribes and problematic issues that exist in the world that we exist in. It’s happening all over the world at the moment and you see it happening all over. People have savaged their own lands and their own environment and they’re having to find a new environment in which to move into through the hostility of others. If there’s something as poignant as that that we can relate to and that we see unfolding in everyday life, then it will make it a worthwhile story.”

Directed by Duncan Jones with a script by Charles Leavitt rewritten by Jones, the story of the film will center on Anduin Lothar versus Durotan, Human and Orc heroes from the original RTS games. The movie will also be focused largely in the Eastern Kingdoms of Azeroth.

Also starring Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma), Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Paula Patton (Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol), Toby Kebbell (The Counselor), and Rob Kazinsky (Pacific Rim).

Warcraft will hit theaters on March 11, 2016.
