If there’s something strange in your neighbourhood, it might be the new Ghostbusters ride, opening at Six Flags Mexico. The soft open for the ride began today, as it replaced the old Terminator attraction.

Gregory Economos, the Senior Vice President of Global Consumer Products at Sony Pictures, stated in an interview, “We’re excited to collaborate with Lynton on this fun yet spooky laser tag attraction. It’s a natural fit for the Ghostbusters brand, and we’re sure that attendees of Six Flags Mexico will know ‘who to call’ after making their way through the arena as paranormal heroes themselves”.

The ride is stated to feature several hidden surprises throughout, including surprise characters as well as various targets.

With the build-up to the next Ghostbusters franchise already beginning, it is nice to see Sony Pictures begin to give the film a push, even if it is just a ride. However, when on this ride, one thing must always be remembered. Don’t cross the streams!
