Recently Jim Carrey shared a close up tease of his character’s famous chipped tooth grin in a pic. But now production has officially begun in Atlanta on the Farrelly Brothers‘ sequel to their 1994 smash hit Dumb and Dumber entitled Dumb and Dumber To. We’ve got some first looks that Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels, and the directors have all posted on Twitter of Harry and Lloyd. The pic above was posted by Carrey and features his children’s book, “How Roland Rolls,” which is being released in stores today, and the photo came with the following caption:
“How Roland Rolls comes out TODAY but it may be a little too sophisticated for Lloyd and Harry! Yep… THEY’RE BAAAAA…”
In an interview with E! Online the 2013 Emmy winner Jeff Daniels teased what we can expect of the sequel:
“The scariest thing? There are some things [that] we’re going to do in ‘Dumb and Dumber To’ that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame. Pales in comparison and I can’t divulge what, but just that they’ve topped it. [The] best thing about it? I get to work with a comedic genius.”
Dumb and Dumber To will likely be released in 2014, twenty years after the release of Dumb and Dumber. It also stars Laurie Holden, Kathleen Turner, Steve Tomand Rachel Melvin.
