Hope Assembles marks a historic milestone in Marvel and Star Wars’ shared legacy, which began with Marvel’s Star Wars #1 in 1977 and launched decades of groundbreaking comic storytelling. Now, as Star Wars celebrates its 50th anniversary, the two universes officially collide in the crossover fans have dreamed of for decades!

“One of the most exciting things about this series is seeing familiar moments through an entirely new lens,” Editor Mark Paniccia said. “Kevin Smith and David Marquez understand exactly what makes these characters so enduring, and they find surprising, emotional, and often exhilarating ways to bring them together. Every issue has moments that will leave fans smiling, cheering, and eager to see what happens next.”

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
