Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters is to get a sequel, it has been confirmed.
It’s unknown if actors Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton will return as their bounty hunter characters for the follow-up however Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick will return as producers.
The first film, which was directed by Tommy Wirkola, cost $50 million to make, and while it only returned $54 million in the US, overseas it raked in nearly three times that with $151.2 million.
