Harrison Ford has confirmed that he will almost certainly be playing Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII.
The Indiana Jones star was speaking to WGN during a Chicago event for his Conservation International organisation, when asked about a role in the forthcoming film directed by JJ Abrams.
He said: “I think it’s almost true. I’m looking forward to it. It’s not in the bag yet, but I think it’s happening.”
Ford is the third member of the Big Three from the Original Trilogy to confirm likely involvement, after Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher said they were coming back for the forthcoming film.
