For Marvel, one of their more anticipated movies for Phase 3 is easily Captain Marvel. Why? Because she’ll be Marvel’s first female-led film. Not to mention, that Carol Danvers is incredibly popular right now in the comics, so there is extra incentive to make her known to the world at large.
But…that does raise the question…are we going to have to wait to see her introduced? Or…will she appear in an upcoming movie?
According to reports, Captain Marvel may be revealed at the end of Age of Ultron, which implies that not only is she cast, but they have her costume ready to go. Rumors are swirling that she’ll be added to one of the factions that’ll more than likely sprout due to Age of Ultron.
As for her solo film, rumors continue as the say it’s been “blocked out”. No writer has been attached as of yet. But comic writers Kelly Sue DeConnick and Jim Starlin are rumored to both want to be on the film, and/or are going to be advising the film.
So…what do you think of this? Could it be true? SHOULD it be true? Who do you think will be Captain Marvel? Let us know!
Avengers: Age Of Ultron arrives in UK cinemas on April 23, and in the US on May 1. The Captain Marvel movie is scheduled to land on November 2, 2018.
