According to The Wrap, Corey Stoll is in early talks to join the cast of Ant-Man. Unfortunately, there’s currently no word on who the House of Cards star will be playing. The Wrap also confirms the rumored Evangeline Lilly in the tweet below.
Is she a love interest to Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang, the daughter of Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, or possibly both. I guess either could work if she’s The Wasp, they’ll just have to tweak her character a bit.
Edgar Wright is directing Ant-Man from a script that he has co-written with Joe Cornish (Attack the Block).
So far it stars Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd as Hank Pym and Scott Lang, respectively.
In addition to Stoll, whose role is being kept under wraps, the film is expected to co-star Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena and Patrick Wilson.
The film, which will launch Marvel’s Phase Three, will hit theaters on July 17th, 2015.
