Hugh Jackman has hinted that he may be reconsidering his decision to retire as comic book favourite Wolverine.
The Australian actor had previously said that the upcoming Logan would be his last as the clawed anti-hero.
However, speaking to Variety, Jackson said he was rethinking the move because of Ryan Reynold’s turn as Deadpool and a possible role in the forthcoming sequel.
“I’m hesitating,” Jackman said, “because I could totally see how that’s the perfect fit. But the timing may be wrong.”
“I have no idea if I can change his mind,” Reynolds said, referring to Jackman. “It’s the audience: I would exclusively exploit that relationship to get Hugh back for another one.”
Logan hits cinema screens on 3 March 2017.
