Huh. It looks like of all the things you need for a Rambo movie, Sylvester Stallone is no longer one of them
News has come out that Nu Image/Millennium Films is set to reboot the movie franchise without the actor who made the war vet a household name – albeit a bloodsoaked one.
A younger actor will take on the role of John Rambo in the movie, currrently titled Rambo: New Blood, and the aim apparently is to make Rambo a James Bond type of franchise.
Sigh.
No other details are really known at this point but, as always, as and when news breaks we’ll keep you all posted.
In fairness, Stallone has said he wouldn’t be back as Rambo (here) and we’re wondering if this means the TV series (here) is dead in the water?
