Jack the Giant Slayer poster is a CGI disappointment

January 6th, 2013 by bash Comments

We normally don’t pass judgement on a movie or anything related to it before release but we have to say we’re disappointed with the new international poster for Jack the Giant Slayer.

While the trailer for Bryan Singer’s future film shows promise, the new image, above, screams CGI warning. However, as ever, we’ll reserve the final say when we see the finished product in the cinema.

Jack the Giant Slayer tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants.

Unleashed on Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them.

Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend – and gets the chance to become a legend himself.

The film, released on March 1, stars Nicholas Hoult, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, Eleanor Tomlinson and Ewan McGregor.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
