Variety is reporting that John Boyega (Attack of the Block) will be a recurring character in 24: Live Another Day. No other details were given.
But that’s not all for the show’s casting news. Deadline is reporting that Stephen Fry will be playing British Prime Minister Trevor Davies, and is described as a “strong and charismatic leader”.
Set four years after the last series, Bauer returns as a fugitive in London.
The pair are joining a cast that also already includes 24 alumni Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver and William Devane, plus newcomers to the show Giles Matthey, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Michael Wincott, Yvonne Strahovski and Judy Davis.
The limited series (12 episodes) has a May airdate set in the US, but there is no official word on when it’ll hit the UK.
