Kevin Feige confirms Daredevil rights are back where they belong

April 24th, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

After FOX failed in their attempts to get a new Daredevil movie into production last year, the rights were supposedly to revert back to Marvel. Marvel president Kevin Feige has confirmed that they do have the rights back to Newsarama:

 “To Daredevil? Yes.”

I’m always glad to hear Marvel get their character rights back, it was a shame that they ever got sold. There’s no plans in place that are known yet, but Marvel is pretty much  firing on all cylinders right now. It will be interesting to see how they eventually try to work him into their Cinematic universe. I always thought a better option for Daredevil would be TV, maybe it could tie into the SHIELD show? they could track him down at first since he is a vigilante. Think about it Matt Murdock, lawyer by day, crimson horned ninja by night.

It could be Marvel’s answer to Arrow. Sure a movie down the line would be cool if done right, but I think a TV audience is there for a show like this.
