The CW has announced that Kevin Smith will direct an episode of Supergirl during its second season.
The news was confirmed at this week’s Television Critics Association Press Tour in Los Angeles.
The self confessed nerd has also written several comics for DC, including Green Arrow and Batman: The Widening Gyre.
Season 2 of Supergirl premieres on Monday10 October 10 on the CW.
