Michael Bay has confirmed that Megan Fox is to star in the forthcoming Ninja Turtles movie.
While no specific role has been mentioned for the Transformers star, it is expected that she’ll be playing April O’Neil, reporter and ally to heroes Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael as well as their master, Splinter.
Bay confirmed the news via his official site.
“TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family,” he said.
The announcement comes as a bit of a surprise following Fox’s departure from the Transformers franchise in 2010 after both parties fell out. It now seems that all has been forgiven.
