According to The Wrap actor Michael Pena (End of Watch, Crash) has been offered an role in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Ant-Man, though it’s unclear what character he would portray should he sign on.
Edgar Wright is directing from a script that he has co-written with Joe Cornish (Attack the Block). So far it stars Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd as Hank Pym and Scott Lang, respectively.
The film, which will launch Marvel’s Phase Three, will hit theaters on July 31st, 2015.
Marvel denied that Pena was in negotiations.
