JAKKS Pacific will be releasing a “Giant Size Godzilla” articulated figure (12 points total) stands 24″ high (measured diagonally), and is 43″ long. In addition, his tail swings back and forth, his mouth opens and closes features. As far as the design, it’s not too far off the original 1954 Godzilla, so fans should be happy. Despite the size, the figures will be available at Toys R’ Us later this week for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
We’ve previously posted one image of what appears to be this same figure, although the packaging is a bit different, since the back tells the origin of Godzilla.

Gareth Edwards is directing the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham.
The cast includes Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Johnson, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe, Richard T. Jones, Sally Hawkins, Akira Takarada, Victor Rasuk, Yuki Morita, C.J. Adams, and Gary Chalk.
Godzilla is expected to rampage into theaters on May 16th, 2014.
