A number of new images from Robert Schwentke’s R.I.P.D. have arrived online.
The film, adapted from Peter M. Lenkov’s graphic novel, centers on the newly-deceased Detective Nick Walker (Ryan Reynolds) and his veteran partner Sheriff Roy Pulsifer (Jeff Bridges) as officers of the Rest in Peace Department.
Tasked with keeping angry souls of the dead from interfering with the world of the living, the pair must learn to work together in order to prevent Hell on Earth.
Also starring Mary-Louise Parker, Kevin Bacon, Marisa Miller and James Hong, R.I.P.D. opens July 19.
