We try to not be overly sentimental about things here at FTN, we’re all grown men and women, but occasionally something comes along that we have to post, no matter what the context. As a father, this really got me..
New dad Randy Atkins was present when his wife was giving birth to his daughter, Nevaeh Atkins, via c-section. According to yahoo, Randy recounted: “The doctor called me over and said, ‘Hey, she’s grabbing my finger. So I ran over there and just grabbed the shot and I was just in awe looking at it. It was such an amazing picture.”
When the couple shared the picture on Facebook it, as they say these days, went viral, receiving over 1,590 shares and 3,305 likes.
Randy wife and the mother of Nevaeh wrote on Facebook: “This was 10 weeks ago when I was having my C-Section and Dr.Sawyer broke my water…and my daughter reached out of my stomach and grabbed the Dr’s finger and my hubby caught this special moment.”
