March 4th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

It seemed like it had died forever but new reports suggest that the movie adaption of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies could be finally on its way.

Seth Graeme-Smith’s book will be adapted for the big screen by David O. Russell while Panorama Media are to produce, finance and handle foreign sales. They join producer Allison Shearmur from Darko Entertainment.

Although the film will be packaged for Cannes, they are are actively seeking a director.

The book is set in an alternate 19th century England and brings together Jane Austen’s world of Pride and Prejudice and a horde of zombies.
