RUMOR: Josh Holloway being eyed for Batman vs Superman?

January 13th, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

According to website Comic Book Movie  Josh Holloway (Lost) is being “strongly” considered for a role in Batman vs Superman. They get this info from a source of user Nail 111 who goes by General Napier. They go on to speculate that he might be Arthur Curry aka Aquaman.

I have to agree on that role for him. Back when we FTN did our FanCast showdown for the Justice League movie that was my choice:

“Considering the fact that he spent so much time in Lost shirtless and wet, Josh Holloway was a perfect choice for my Aquaman. Holloway most definitely looks the part, and he’s edgy. I think he’s the best guy if they go the New 52 route with him.”

I don’t think Aquaman will be in the movie though.

Batman vs. Superman (or whatever) was scripted by David S. Goyer from a story he co-created with Zack Snyder, with rewrites by Chris Terrio. Snyder is directing. Man of Steel‘s Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman in the film, Ben Affleck is Bruce Wayne/Batman and Gal Gadot is Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will also reprise their roles in the sequel.

It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
