We’ve got another name to add to the ever growing list of possible Batman actors, Orlando Bloom. According The Daily Express’ senior source at Warner Bros:
“Orlando looks odds-on to get the part even before our first casting call. He would be perfect to play off Henry and I think US audiences would be happy with two Brits as the joint male leads.”
The Henry in the quote is Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill. While this goes against all reports of an older Batman so does Ryan Gosling.
However unlikely it is, how would you feel with Orlando Bloom in the cape and cowl?
Batman vs. Superman (or whatever) will be written by David Goyer, directed by Zack Snyder and star Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. Batman has yet to be cast and it’s most likely targeting a Summer 2015 release.
