SDCC2014: Warner Bros. want Batman v Superman’s Chris Terrio to pen Justice League!

July 26th, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

According to The Hollywood Reporter Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio is being courted to write Zack Snyder’s Justice League film. Terrio re-wrote the screenplay for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which was previously written by David Goyer. Apparently he’s impressed Warner Bros. Pictures enough that they’d like him to pen the follow-up film. Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder is already attached to direct Justice League.

Terrio has a strong relationship with Warners and Affleck, who directed and starred in Argo, a best picture Oscar winner for the studio.

The Justice League roster is not official yet, but we can assume it will star Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to release on May 6, 2016, and Justice League has no official date yet but is rumored for 2017.
