More exciting news for those Star Wars fans planning to be in attendance at Celebration Europe. Apparently those lucky enough to secure a seat will be treated to a special screening of the Darth maul story arc from Clone Wars season five…wait for it, wait for it…with the episodes cut together into a theatrical movie! The episodes that will be cut together are “Revival”, “Eminence”, “Shades of Reason” and “The Lawless”. This special story arc will screen on the Celebration Digital Stage in Halle Essen in the Congress Center Ost. This stage was especially created for an optimal viewing experience, with Barco digital projection and 5.1-surround sound.

Fans can also learn more about the making of the series during the Secrets of Star Wars: The Clone Wars panel on the Behind-The-Scenes Stage, hosted by Lucasfilm’s resident Star Wars expert Pablo Hidalgo. Supervising Director Dave Filoni will share behind-the-scenes stories and answer your questions about the groundbreaking production.

Currently the Darth Maul story arc is set for 17:00 (5:00pm) on both Friday and Saturday on the Digital Stage. Secrets of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is scheduled for 15:00 (3:00pm) Friday on the Behind-The-Scenes Stage. Schedules might change, so check the online schedule and the Celebration Europe mobile app for the latest updates.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
