Well if you’re reading this I guess the spoiler tag didn’t scare you off from your Thor fix. Don’t you worry, because Marvel Studios has got you covered. They’ve just released 15 minutes of B-Roll footage from the film! The sequel is really looking good.

According to The Hollywood Reporter:

If pre-release tracking is any indication, Thor: The Dark World could enjoy one of the best November openings of all time at the North American box office, particularly for a film opening earlier in the month.”

That would easily exceed the $65.7 million opening of the original Thor in 2011 on its way to earning $449 million worldwide. They go on to say the movie is sparking interest in all quadrants of the moviegoing audience.

The top opening for early November is the $88.4 million earned by James Bond film Skyfall last year. TheTwilight Saga: New Moon is the record-holder for best November opening with $142.8 million (Nov 20th 2009).

“The sequel continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.”

The Alan Taylor directed movie also stars Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins.

Thor: Dark World comes to Midgard on October 30th, 2013 in the UK and on November 8th in the US.
